EUROPAER pizza, icecream and coffee restaurant in shenyang

A 20 minute bike ride northwest of Shenyang City Square you find EUROPAER a pizza, icecream and coffee restaurant. if you prefer to use busses there are 3 busses that goes to that part of Shenyang, route 210,215 and 228
The restaurant is very appealing and the staff is very friendly, but not very much english speaking but they deal with turists the best way they know.
Their menu is not large, but a very nice combination of pizza, pasta, and other western dishes. Their coffee menu is also of a higher standard than found in other restaurants of simular type.
The prices on the menu is quite reasonable and for less than 100CNY you will get a good meal.
We tried their beef Pizza, garlic baquette and wienerschnitzel and the servings were large enough for 2 people. The food quality was well above standard , well presented and quite flavourful.
The Pizza was well prepared, but did show some lack of flavour from the use of traditional italian cheeses such as parmesan, but judging from what is avaible in Chinese supermarkets might not be possible to get. The wienersnitchel was served only with french fries and some sweet sour cabbage, and would have benefitted from a few other vegetables. The garlic baquette was very flavoursome and of a high standard.
EUROPAER is well worth a visit or 2 and the overall food experience excelent. We will be going back to test out other items on their menu. Overall we give EUROPAER out of 5
After a second visit trying other items on the menu, I still say the food standard is well above average, just a pity the overall standard is reduced due to waiting time for one out of 3 items. My guests had to eat their food to prevent it from going cold before I received My cirloin steak. To improve the overall standard Europaer need to have better coordination between kitchen and restaurant.
